There are three things that make me very happy in this life. Beer. Sausage. Sex. Sometimes in that order. Sometimes all at the same time. I like being creative and trying new things. I’m hoping that some of you dopers may have some great homemade sausage recipes out there that I’d love to try. I have a great chorizo recipe and a simple spicy Italian sausage recipe that works for me.
Here’s the Italian Sausage recipe:
1 kilo ground pork
3 tsp salt
2 tsp sweet paprika
2 tsp pepper
1 tsp fennel
2 tsp hot pepper flakes
Mix it all together and stuff it in some sausage casings.
Anybody out there care to share a good bratwurst, weisswurst, polish sausage, etc recipe?
please? i’m hungry.
