"So are you telling me that under no circumstances would you kill baby Hitler?
I love this show.
"So are you telling me that under no circumstances would you kill baby Hitler?
I love this show.
This was my first episode. A friend kept suggesting it, but I kept pushing because I don’t watch a lot of TV and like it that way, but I’m glad I finally gave in. I really, really liked it; it reminds me a lot of Scrubs.
Go to ABC.com and watch last week’s episode. It was the best one. It’d be episode 3.
I’m assuming you’re talking about the “black” episode. That was number 4.
This week’s couldn’t be as good, but it was still funny. A good, funny show. What a luxury.
Yep, episode 4 is the one I’m thinking of. The one where the building can no longer see Black people.
This show is great. Period. And is likely to be canceled despite its greatness, and its potential as a money-maker on DVD sales, because the Proles neither watch it nor get it. Aux barricades to save Ted!
Or not. Those campaigns tend to be embarrassing.
Is it doing poorly in the ratings?
I hope not.
Closer to terrible than poor. It’s coming in fourth to reruns.

So is anyone else going to hurricane proof their dog?
OK, I’ve watched the show, so now I get this. I’m forcing myself to wait until at least tomorrow to watch it again. Hilarious.
The first couple episodes of this show were rather lackluster in my opinion, and I almost decided to not bother watching anymore, but am I glad that I continued! The last two episodes have been positively hysterical. The writing has really picked up - either that or I am just starting to notice some of the subtleties (ie. right at the beginning, when scene shows two scientists walk by each other with rockets and Ted says “Some compete to see who has the biggest rocket”, scene transitions immediately to two guys standing next to each other at the urinal :D). There were too many good lines in this episode to list.
Man, explain this line to me. I don’t remember it in the episode.
Bit of Geek Trivia to add, as well.
Did you guys know that the guy who plays Phil(Jonathan Slavin) is married to David Boreanaz’s(Angel and Bones) sister?
Yep. Angelus and Phil are brothers-in law.
It was in the fake ads. Right after the old lady and the baby fighting each other to death.
God, I love Veronica.
Actually, Better off Ted is starting to climb in the ratings. Last week’s was the highest-rated episode, up 8% over the previous week, and it finished second in its time slot. It’s still very much on the bubble though, but low-and-improving ratings are much better than low-and-declining.
