I always giggle (in a manly way) when I see NJ license plates proclaiming “The Garden State” (heard too many Newark jokes over the years) - then a story like this pops up about a bear in a suburban tree.
Very close to where my brother lives - my niece posted a nice little video/photo montage she took. I’m surprised that people were as close as her video shows - around here, I imagine that there would have been a three block evacuation.
