I think I’ve asked this before, but is there a saddle that’s gentle on hemorrhoids?
Peace,
mangeorge
Amazon sells the “Hobson Easyseat Ergonomical Dual Pad Bicycle Saddle” that has a pad for each cheek. The pads pivot as you peddle. I have one on my bike and it works well.
You can see it here http://www.amazon.com/Hobson-Easyseat-Ergonomical-Bicycle-Saddle/dp/B000GBK4Z4
Are you sure standard bike saddles are a problem? A bike seat should only be pressing on your sit bones and not, er, further back.
Not sure that its specifically for hemorrhoids, but my wife’s bike has a “gel” seat for easy riding. She bought this years ago so I’d have to assume they would be widespread (no pun intended) by now if they help.
Start with a gel seat cover. A larger seat that spreads the weight would help. And finally, work on the source, which is the diet that causes the hemorrhoids.
Make sure you adjust that seat so it is perfectly balanced. It takes many attempts to get it right, but the result pays off in the END.
