Just like Obama delivered Trump an economic that had healed from 2008, Biden is delivering Trump an economy that healed from 2020.
The pandemic is done. People are back to normal, and there’s now a much larger % of the population that works remotely.
Inflation that came from supply chains mostly is now almost down to the FED target of 2%:
Unemployment is a whopping 4.1%:
Population/Employment prime age rate is at its highest levels since around 2001:
We’re producing more oil and gas than any country ever has (Biden lost the imaginary war on oil):

Average Wages have recovered and have now eclipsed the inflation since pre-pandemic, and this has especially been the case for lower-level earners:
GDP growth has remained solid and above the rest of the developed world:
Our uninsured rate hit historic low levels in 2023, and remains lower than pre-pandemic averages, at around 7-8%:
I started a thread back in early 2024 complaining that Biden is not getting any credit for the economy that has healed under his watch from what he inherited in January, 2021. The vast majority of the indicators have trended positive, and those that were troublesome (like inflation in 2022) have receded to something close to normal. But of course, we have to throw the Dems out, because there are transgender people in the Bureau of Labor & Statistics and it’s all fake numbers anyway (until something looks good under Trump, then they’ll say it’s real).
Trump and his MAGAts of course are pretending he’s inheriting an economic mess, which is a pack of lies.
America has a political problem. A problem with cultural backlash against change. A problem with an organized Fascist movement. However, our economy is doing very well. It’s impossible to break through to the average voter in Trump world and bring them the good news on the economy that their guy will inherit. They’re unreachable currently, because they eat/sleep/breathe misinformation and disinformation. But at least in the real world, we should acknowledge this.
