Notice how he takes hold of the little pubescent girl’s arm so she can’t move away then practically sticks his tongue in her ear. She attempts to lean away but he’s got hold of her arm. Finally the little girls mother has to tap Biden on the back indicating that he had had his fun to the little girls embarrassment and to let her daughter go!

I watched the video and kept wondering- where’s the beef? If this is the best you’ve got, be ready for President Biden. If the republic can stand a naked Nixon swimming with an equally naked Billy Graham, I’m sure that we can handle naked swims by Biden. And since about 10% of SS agents are female, the chances of one of them having to gaze upon the presidential staff are pretty small.

There’s a diplomatic decorum that is maintained among world leaders. It’s the nature of diplomacy. What Bush was doing up there at an international summit in front of a hundred reporters wasn’t “fondling” Merkel, it was pure buffoonery. It’s called “being an ass”.
BTW, I also checked what this Ash Carter’s wife and Biden thing was about. Apparently the Bidens and the Carters are close friends, and during Carter’s swearing-in ceremony Biden appeared to whisper something in his wife’s ear. The horror!

We need another primer on how to write a good thread. Seems like folks get about 50/50 odds of a thread going in vaguely the direction they had in mind when they posted it, and then it drops sharply from there if they try to do anything clever–like incorporate a metaphor.
TriPolar’s just lucky this last minute meeting didn’t turn into a Biden/Warren in 2016 pledge. Because then he’d have to defend reporting Biden “going all the way” with Warren. 
I didn’t have much in the specific intent. I realize some threads are like that. I suspect the press was intentionally tipped off about this ‘secret’ meeting, but this little tryst could mean almost anything. Of course the idea that either or both of them could enter the race is going to be the primary speculation, but they could just as easily be discussing their endorsements of existing candidates, or even something unrelated to the election. If there is any significance to this meeting we’ll hear about eventually.
There’s really nothing to thread title except comparing the behavior of the press to adolescent gossip. I was bit surprised that anyone read any more into it than that.

Maybe it doesn’t matter to you, but a fair number of Dems are still pissed about that law. Most of them are Bernie’s supporters. And if O’Malley makes an issue of it (and he is desperately seeking an issue that will get him noticed in a good way) and Bernie doesn’t…nah, won’t happen.

Which is great for Sanders, but doesn’t do anything to get Clinton over Biden. Unless you think Sanders can win, damaging both Clinton and Biden serves no purpose for Democrats. It just blurs the distinction between Democrats and Republicans on inequality issues, something I’d imagine Sanders doesn’t want unless the nominee is him.

Which is why it would make sense to come up with something. Maybe “getting to second base” means saying she’ll endorse him should he run, while a home run would be her going on the ticket with him. Third base could be, I dunno, actively campaining for him. And first base would be telling him he should run.
