I agree with the others. Biffster may be annoying, but the level of annoyance he’s brought to the board pales in comparison to the quarry bullshit.

Ya know, if all I ever posted was “Let’s go to the quarry and throw stuff down there” those people complaining about me might have a point, but I don’t so they don’t.
Their complaint about my posting is not at all the same as my complaint about Biffster’s posts and any attempt to draw equivalence with respect to contributing to the SDMB’s culture and knowledge base is ridiculous and without foundation.
Yes, I knew that people would attempt to turn this into a pitting of me, but I hardly see that as a reason for me to not air this complaint. The logic behind “you shouldn’t complain about anything because people complain about something you do” is specious, at best.
My posting history has no bearing at all on whether or not Biffster’s posts suck ass (and they do).

Neither does Biffster; he or she has plenty of posts that are written contributions. You don’t like the posts that are nothing but links to images (I don’t either). That’s pretty much the same objection people have to your ridiculous quarry shit, regardless of any other posts of value you make.

I’ve said it before. I have no problem with the quarry thing. I just take it as Bo’s way of expressing being amused. It’s fine.
It’s just his way of telling us we can ignore that post. Too bad, since he can be interesting.
It’s not just “ignore that post.” His choice in this regard tells me enough about him that I’m not interested in courteous conversation with him. If he changes his mind about his stupid catchphrase, I’ll change my mind about courteous conversation with him :).
