" You know, when Penny & Leonard get back together (yes, when, not if), this gives them a reason to join Sheldon in his “Wil Wheaton must die” crusade. EVEN if Leonard might be inclined to let Wil off, Penny will be on the verge of learning how to say “Revenge is a dish best served cold” in Klingon. " Friar Ted, I’m really liking this idea. I don’t think Penny will think too kindly of it once she realizes or learns she was manipulated.
Ooh a Wesley CRUSHERS shirt would be kind of fun.
My wifes watching a show right now that has Wheaton as a serial killer. When did this guy make a come back?
That would be Criminal Minds, I think.
I don’t think he’s any more prevalent as any number of other actors, but since becoming an internet celebrity, he does have a certain cachet.
He’s just finished shooting an episode of Eureka, and last year was in an ep of Leverage. Good on him that he can keep his fingers in all the pies he’s juggling, if I may awkwardly mix metaphors.
I am not familiar with Wheaton’s work other than the two episodes of BBT. But, is he really this terrible of an actor? Is this some sort of gimmick they put in the show for some reason? How hard is it to play yourself?
No, that’s pretty much his acting.
I like Wil Wheaton in his non-acting stuff but it is kind of hard to see him talk about how much he puts into preparing for each of these guest spots since the result is so generally, to me anyway, not great.
But more power to him if he’s enjoying it and people want to hire him.
Fictional Wil Wheaton is really evil. Penny and Leonard are really done until such time as Penny realizes that she really loves Leonard. Hopefully in the finale…
