So, what did you guys think of last night’s episode?
“Pew! Pew Pew Pew!”
“Pew”
I thought it was adorable.
Howard and Raj are continuing on the more dweeb than smart continuum.
Sheldon who in past episodes has been tending more social in the actual girlfriend issue (not just a friend that is a girl) seems to fall back on his word (maybe not the written agreement, i’ve forgotten the details).
AFF seems to show social hurt more than previous.
not a scholar of the show (my tv brain doesn’t have enough room left), even a lot of details and jokes of the episode have already left my mind since i only half paid attention to it while multitasking viewing.
I really don’t like Sheldon’s hair this season. The wife thinks they changed it because Parsons is going bald on the sides and the old haircut accentuated it. But the new one just isn’t right.
I thought they played Sheldon a little too childish this week.
“You’re right. I’m smart as a whip, I should be able to figure this out”
I thought this episode was a kind of shout out to fans who say the guys (and the show) have changed for the worse with the whole girlfriend/fiance angle. Raj’s wish for the way things used to be is, I imagine, what the show’s creators hear from fans.
Course, I’m a relative newcomer to the show, so I’m not as up on how the characters were in earlier seasons.
The laugh track isn’t frequent enough nor loud enough.
How come no laugh track when they breathe?
Hey Big Bang fans - this doesn’t deserve it’s own thread but -
I discovered while processing the new People at work that the actor who plays Kuthrapali got married. Not just married, but had a week-long traditional Indian shindig in New Delhi marrying a former Miss India. People, in its infinite good taste, called it a Bollywood wedding.
Happy for him.
I don’t find the laugh track annoying. I never notice it.
IMO the laugh track is definitely not as annoying as someone bringing up in nearly every BBT thread.
“And when I finally do get a girlfriend I’ll be the guy who got a girlfriend after Sheldon Cooper.”
How can one line be so funny and so pitying at the same time?
Could be worse. I’ll be the guy who got one after Rajesh Koothrappali.
I really did not like Bernadette when she was first introduced, but she’s become my favorite character.
Pew!
mmm
Never read anything about BBT on Reddit.
On second thoughts, do. You’ll easily find yourself convinced that 70% of the comments are written by Sheldon.
*“I spent a lot of my childhood throwing coins into wising wells, hoping for friends. At a certain point you start doing trick shots just to keep things interesting.” *Saddest line I’ve ever heard.
Leonards’ hugging machine that he built (and his father borrowed) is way sadder imho.
So did Howard drop out of the space program or did he actually finish the training?
He must have finished that initial training. I don’t know how he’s going into space. Do they make space suits in kid’s sizes?
I expect the plan is his NASA trip will be the season finale.
if they do there will likely be a computer malfunction situation but it won’t be HAL it will be Howard.
he has already messed up with a robot, Rover and toilet.
I loved Penny’s Star Trek/Star Wars take.
I had fun with it. It wasn’t their best show, but I laughed more than many of their recent ones.
