Big Bang Theory Question

What is the shiny metallic-looking thing that is attached to the column near the entrance to the hallway to the bedrooms?

It looks like a fuse holder with large, cylindrical fuses. Or some sort of wierd xylophone.

It is. Bill Prady once tweeted that Leonard collects old electronics, so what you see is what you get: a large, vintage fuse holder.

We discussed it here. Did it move? I thought it was over on the left side of the apartment, but I could be wrong.

Here is an old thread where we identified it as best we could: A custom-built fuse panel from an unidentified rocket, with Bussman fuses. Purchased from a rocket-part junkyard!

Thanks for all the replies. I googled it and didn’t come up with anything. Of course, the show been fictional and all, the fuse holder itself could be entirely fictional. I mean, it could be just something cobbled together from surplus by a props person with a good imagination.

I emailed the show’s set decorator about the piece. It was purchased like that, not built by her team. You can see her reply in the other thread.
