Big Daddy Warbucks' address to the nation about his war

Just said the US could take out Iran’s warfighting capabilities “in one day”.

I am reminded of this scene:

Spock: Captain, the speech follows no logical pattern.
Kirk: Random sentences strung together.
McCoy: He looks drugged, Jim. Almost at a cataleptic state.
Star Trek The Original Series, “Patterns of Force”

He called one of our ships “the SS Cole”. Surely someone can write a parody of the theme song of Gilligan’s Island to incorporate that.

And now I’ve reached the end of that stream of absolute bullshit.

November 3, 2026 cannot arrive soon enough.

I’m going to give him the benefit of the doubt that his addled mind was thinking the USS Cole, which of course was destroyed by the Israelis.

He was definitely talking about the USS COLE. But he’s the only adult American who doesn’t know our Navy’s commissioned ships are USS.

And what kind of moron brings that up while talking about a war in which Israel is supposedly an ally?

The same one who brings up Pearl Harbor to the Japanese Prime Minister as a “gotcha”?

USS Cole was attacked by Al-Qaeda, but not destroyed.

Israel attacked the USS Liberty during the Six-Day war in 1967.

I wonder what he thinks he accomplished with this talk?

Apologies for using the word thinks in a sentence about him.

I stand corrected.

I laughed out loud. Thank you!

Another one (from a very brief clip that I managed to watch) was “everyone is saying …”. Apparently everyone is saying how terrifically well this war is going, thanks to the leadership of the Great Orange Shitstain, certainly the greatest military strategist in history.

Thank you, Monty.

His brain is pudding. If you asked when the Cole bombing happened he’d probably blame it on Joe Biden.

November 2028 cannot arrive soon enough, either!

I’m hoping he’s impeached and removed from office after the new Congress meets in January of 2027!

Or thinks it was a coal mine blown up by those commie-fascist greens.

Men are coming up to him with tears in their eyes, saying, “Sir, nobody’s ever seen heard a speech as pointless as this one.”
