I’ always heard of Big XXX to describe some scary, overpowered, monolithic organization dedicated to profit/power and screw the little guy.
Big Government, Big Tobacco, Big Oil, etc.
Has anyone derisively used “Big General Population”…in one way or another… as a term to express contempt?
Is anybody threatened by “The People”?

While the USA has the third largest population in the world, there are now 14 more countries right behind us with at least a quarter of the US population. There is where to look if you fear the masses. Indonesia could pass us in a decade or so, and we are already outnumbered, together, by Filipinos, Egyptians, Vietnamese and Ethiopians.
