Biggest bomb of all time??

Spooje

So, that means there’s a very low order of probability that Hollywood is going to be making “Leonard Part 7” anytime soon.

And certainly no “Ishtar 2 - Electric Boogaloo”.

What’s funny is that I had no idea what that particular South Park episode was making fun this past season, as I don’t remember seeing any advertising for “You Got Served.” Either I didn’t see any, or I automatically ignored it.

Number 18

Release Date: 6/30/1999
Movie: Wild, Wild West, The Warner Bros.
Budget: $175,000,000
World Wide Gross: $217,700,000
Loss: -$66,150,000

Is the loss based soley on US take at the box office? Based on these figures, the movie made a decent profit.

That threw me too, but like the note on the page says - not that I noticed it the first time either - not all of the box office take goes to the studio (they estimate that amount at 50%). So you divide the $217,700,000 in half and get $108,850,000, which is $66,150,000 below the budget like they say.

Ahhhhh, ok, it makes sense now. Thanks

Wouldn’t the sequel for that one be “Leonard Part 12”?

Freddy Got Fingered is just misunderstood!

"I’m the backwards man I’m the backwards man…"

I never even heard of the game, and I’m one of those wierdos who has too much free time and ends up stumbling across all sorts of obsure games.

What happened to the first 5 parts? I must have missed them?

(Yeah, I know there were none, but I still question the decision to give it that title).

That movie was awesome! I’m absolutely baffled by the notion that people might not have liked it, since nobody heard about it when it came out, it unfortunately acheived bomb status.

The first two movies that came to mind were Evolution and The Big Hit. It’s rare that I’m in an angry mood after having paid to see a movie, but those two managed to do it.

Wouldn’t it count as a sleeper hit? I know a lot of people that have seen it and love it and have always assumed that it eventually wound up making a fair amount on rental. . . enough to greenlight a sequel.
