Here in NE Kansas, the hawk mates with the bluejay. The progeny are sterile when handling oblong-shaped objects, but surprisingly viable when handling large orange-colored spheres.
Not a total fiasco. In my case ignorance was fought. I had never had reason to use the term, but I wasn’t aware that it was offensive. I figure I missed a bullet as it were: I sure wouldn’t want to inadvertently drop a racial slur. It makes you look like a doofus at best.
I agree - I’m from Scotland and I would regard the term “Jap” as pretty offensive.

One could use that little phrase to introduce statements of fact or opinion that really have nothing to do with racism.

“False dog?” Is that their excuse for being really piss-poor dogs? I mean, they don’t even try. OTOH, my dogs try to make up for the lack of cats in my life (I’m allergic). They aren’t real good at it, being easily distracted by things they need to bark at, but at least they are trying.
