I think you anger is undeserved, duffer. Scot (lower-case) is a noun which means: tax, or levy; money assessed, or paid. Scot-free would then indicate that a person got away without paying what should be the normal penalty for an act, goods, or services.
Well gee, let’s take a look at that. Using Clinton as the sine qua non of bad behavior, as a pre-set standard by which any other bad behavior may be favorably compared, this is simply not something you’ll hear out of Democrat/liberals.
