We saw many of the typical - quite a few “Scream” masks, some Digimon and Pokemon, lots and lots of the store-bought standards. But highest points for creativity go to the kid who showed up at our house dressed as Bill Gates. He wore dark rimmed glasses, dress pants, dress shoes, a dress shirt and tie with a v-neck sweater, and collected candy in a briefcase which had a sign on the front of it reading

“Microsoft
Property of Bill Gates”

Pretty creative, I thought.

So who showed up at your house last night?

Among a dozen or so trick-or-treaters, I had three teens who didn’t even bother with a costume! Either that, or they were doing the Wednesday Addams’ “Serial Killer” thing. If I had anything other than candy to give out (e.g. apples), these three would have got them.

i think we had a grand total of 5 kiddies…and we still have 2 lbs of tootise rolls, make that a pound and a half my dad got to some…anyone want some tootsie rolls?
