As you may have noticed in this thread, I have had an ongoing cranky problem with a certain organization’s billboards; eventually, thanks to the Dopers, I have come to understand that it is a cranky semantic issue only, and that the attempted message underlying is actually something I support wholeheartedly.
Well, I saw it yesterday:
“My shopping cart, my rules.”
Woo hoo! Score! This one makes perfect sense, the message is much more clear, and is something I can get behind 100%! Damn straight! Vote with your wallet! Don’t buy empty-calorie crap and glorified styrofoam disguised as food! There are always healthier food choices that the people in a family will eat, once you figure out what they are.
