Okay my mom was wondering this and I really didnt know the answer. Could someone please list the person and the amount the bill is worth. This is for all American currency over one hundred dolllars.
Well thank ya Sethdallob. Cleared that one right up.
Currently the highest-value bill in the world (in general circulation) is the 500 Euro note.
So the movies are wrong, spies cross frontiers with suitcases full of Euros, not dollars.
One more - I figure that the original poster hasn’t heard of Google, so let’s help him out.

What about the 1,000,000 dollar bill? I just saw a picture of one. The portrait on the front was of the Statue of Liberty.
OK, OK, it was a fake, and the lady who tried to cash it, at a McDonald’s of all places, I think, got in trouble.
Come to think of it, wasn’t Montgomery Burns somehow involved in a large currency bill? I’m not sure if his picture was on it, or he just stole it.
If we’re talking highest demonination note, rather than highest-value one, then the various episodes of hyperinflation will provide many horrible examples.
The highest number I found in a quick Google is the 20 TRILLION Mark Note issued in Germany in 1923.
Actually, that was one of the objections to the 500 Euro note: ease of smuggling. As it stands, a million dollars in $100 bills is on the order of a suitcase full, while in 500 Euro notes it’s more like a purse.
Now, given that the Euro’s only been released so long ago and movies take a certain time from writing to production, you can give Hollywood a break, can’tcha?
Don’t forget that George W. Bush is on the $200 bill…
Wal*Mart.
