Well, Joel has never recorded a cover on any of his studio albums, and “NY State of Mind” first appeared on 1976’s Turnstiles. It’s his song.
I don’t remember any song called “Shameless”, though.
“Shameless” is on ** Storm Front** and was written by Joel. Garth Brooks covered it, although i have no way of telling you what album it would be on, since i do not especially like Garth nor “Shameless”.
“Shameless” appeared on Brooks’ 1992 “This Is Garth Brooks”.
