As for cites, I did give one : the book, “THE MAN WHO DECLARED WAR ON AMERICA” .The author’s name escapes me ,but he was interviewed on cnn and msnbc and probably** not **that other one, the one who’s moto is : “The truth? You can’t handle the truth!” The book describes how BinLaden is obsessed with bringing back the Caliphate in Baghdad . He must elliminate Saddam; he’s not strong enough to do that. The Saudis also want to kill Saddam; they are not strong enough. Solution : Saudis get Bin Ladn to bomb wtc .then Saudis entice big oil men in US to get their boy to invade Iraq ,(even though we can’t prove any connection whatsoever with Iraq and 9/11 -----who cares ! everybody is running around like a chicken without a head anyway !). Next, big oil men get hands on iraq oil! I can’t prove any of this; I don’t know if its true .But you have not demonstated that I am wrong
Let’s put it this way: You need to get some sort of credible documentation to have such a suggestion taken seriously. And you won’t find credible documentation, because it ain’t there. If it were there, it would be all over every news channel in the world (except maybe al-Jazeera, who wouldn’t want to tarnish Osama’s reputation*). I work in the media, and there are few things that sell papers as effectively as ugly news about an incumbent politician. We’d be all over it.

The US had links to Osama when the Soviets invaded Afghanistan, and then it stopped, there are no links whatsoever anymore.
Bush was a laughing stock then, and still is now. He was exempt from criticism because of the attacks, but now that veil has been lifted.

First, ** flabbygirlyman** if (or when) Bush takes out Saddam why do you think that Bush will stop hunting OBL and give OBL the keys to the “Caliphate in Baghdad”. If Bush actually did that do you think the US population or the rest of the world would stand for it?
Second, upon rereading your little conspiracy theory I realize that it makes absolutely no sense. The Saudis get OBL to attack the US so that Bush can attack Iraq so that big oil can take over Iraq. How in the heck does that help OBL or the Saudis? It doesn’t.
Third, and this is just a personal comment meant to be constructive, could you please work on your punctuation? It doesn’t help your case, IMHO, when commas, periods and colons appear to be placed at random in your posts. Also it is hard to read. I am not great with punctuation, in fact I know I make mistakes, but I do try to make as few mistakes as possible so that my posts are as clear as possible.
Last, can I ask how it is that you have been a member for two years and only managed to make 66 posts? Do you lurk alot? I ask because it seems strange to me that you could be a member for that long and have such a low post count. Just curious.

Bin Laden ,although crafty and clever, is not a normal rational individual . Who knows what he expects will happen? Maybe he expects Allah to strike us all dead after he finishes his appointed task . It doesn’t matter; he probably will fail anyway ,if he isn’t already lying dead in the rubble of some bombed-out Afkhan cave.
As for my punctuation , I try ,too, to keep my errors to a minimum, but I swear that I didn’t make any errors ; I did what I intended to do , and I did it for a specific effect , to match the intonations that I ,personally, would use if speaking out loud.
