In another thread in IMHO, someone mentioned Bing mapping being superior to Google maps, because there was some sort of street view that did it better. I dind’t want to hijack the thread.

I just did a quick tour of Bing maps, and have to say that they’re horrendous. I hate the bird’s eye view (when I was looking for houses this summer, all the realtor sites use that same tech, and it’s disorienting). I couldn’t find this street view at all. Maybe I’m missing something. Anyone know the straight dope?

I like Bing’s Birds Eye view. I don’t think they have a street view though.

Both Google and Bing satellite imagery is well out of date for my area. I had my driveway redone in Aug 2006 and it still shows the old drive. My inlaws had a pool put in two years ago yet it’s not there and for the past three years there has been a huge road construction project down on I95 which is nowhere to be seen on either service.
