Guys use tampons to clean their guns? Why?

i guess it fits in the barrel and has an easy pull string. it shouldn’t work for shotguns (or other long barreled guns), but save cleaning those for when you’re meeting your daughter’s boyfriend! (that’s what i plan to do when i have kids)
Yeah, clean your shotgun with tampons when your daughter’s boyfriend comes over - that oughta make an impression! Grinning like a maniac all the while, of course. And wink at him a couple of times for good measure.
