I’ve noticed that alot of birthdays (including mine) fall in the month of october. From the 14 of february, october 14th is 9 months away, so that’s a no-brainer as to why people are born in october :). The other logical month is august, because of christmas and new years 9 months prior.
Aside from my WAG’s, what are the statistics for birth months, and the corrolating reasons to them?

Births in the United States peak in summer, and have for a long time. Here are 2003 statistics. Apparently the cooler weather in fall promotes humping.
I think it differs from person to person. Out of the dozens and dozens of people I know I only can think of 2 that have birthdays in October (a childhood friend and a girl I dated a few years back). I know tons of people with May-June birthdays.

I tend to agree. My birthday is in the first week of October and I rarely find any celebrity with my birthday and I’ve only met one person in my entire life that has the exact birthday I do (and I don’t limit this to the same year either). I always thought that a birthdate from October 1st through October 7th would be very popular (New Year’s Eve “celebrations”) but not really.
So, as the statistics show, Fall is the “Time of the Season” for loving. (as the Zombies said).
