Birthday party gift bags-- I need ideas!

So, I’m helping throw a birthday party for a little boy… well, a 25-year-old boy, my SO, actually. We decided it would be fun to have gift bags for the guests, just like when we were kids. But what to put in them…?

The party theme is booze and video games, and we’re having about 20 people. So we’re thinking shot glasses, cigarette lighters, mini liquors and the like. Any ideas? Cheap ideas?

It’s in two weeks, so internet ordering is an option.

Thanks!

How about jiggers and little cocktail recipe books, like you can get at the checkouts at bookstores?

Condoms – maybe brightly colored, ribbed, flavored, etc.

Does anyone know any good wholesale websites that sell party favors? For some reason, the internets are not co-operating with me tonight.

Oriental Trading has tons of party favors, maybe you can find something in the Mardi Gras section?

I once got a shooter gift bag, recipe instructions with 1/2 pints of two liquors and a 16 oz bottle of fruit juice along with a…not a shot glass but the bigger one that holds maybe 4 ounces? You could likely adapt that down to smaller portions, and what about video rental gift certs for bag stuffers?

Oooh, know what might be perfect? The Sega handheld games McD’s were packing in happy meals, like here.

I’m not finding any for you though. :frowning:

Paper umbrellas.

I saw a big lot of those on ebay, with like 4 minutes left. I was too indecisive, and missed my opportunity. Although, you can get old Atari games for really cheap, so, even though I don’t know anyone with a 2600, hey, they’d make great coasters. (I’m sure I just committed a grave sin by saying that. Sorry, Atariheads.)
