Interesting new pop culture feminist magazines
I’m sitting here leafing through my April 1994 copy of Bitch and comparing it to current issues … still has damn good writing. 
Two of my very favorite magazines! I have a subscription to Bust, but somehow keep forgetting to subscribe to Bitch. I just buy it at the bookstore.
I’ve been reading both for maybe 8 years or so. I love Bitch - smart, funny, angry, every issue a gem. I can’t stand Bust much, but I do read it. I used to review zines, and back when Bust was more of a small-press zine than it is now, I remember literally throwing an issue across the room in frustration. The editorial content and ads too often contradict their supposed core beliefs, in my opinion.
