I have had the Storm for about an hour. I already don’t like it. It is not intuitive at all. Maybe I am just slwo on the uptake, and I have never used a Blackberry.
How do I change where apps show up in the menu? I would like the Facebook app to show up on the main menu but I can’t make it happen.
To put the Facebook app on the main page, highlight it, but don’t click the screen. Press the BlackBerry button. There’s an option on the menu that pops up that says “Move to Folder.” Select this, then move it to the Home folder.
To move it around on the home screen, do the same thing, but select “Move” instead of “Move to Folder.”
You can get things off the home screen the same way- moving them to an existing folder or creating a new folder and moving it into that. You create a new folder by using “Add Folder” off the same menu.
You can also hide things by selecting them, pushing the BlackBerry button, then selecting “Hide” from the menu. This is nice with stuff it won’t let you delete, like the stupid VZTones thing that appeared on my Storm yesterday. I hope this helps!
