What a beautiful dog! So sorry for your loss.
It occurs to me that this has been the worst part of my life…losing my dogs. You have them for so many years and then they are gone.
It just occurred to me that if that is the worst part…then I’ve been lucky.
No regrets then…
It takes me about 1-2 years to be able to cope with the loss and I think it gets harder each time. Maybe as you get older you learn to appreciate the dog or dogs on so many more levels, so the loss is greater.
You know how lucky you are to have had this companion.
