Blacks and the Democratic Party

You don’t think Priebus’ comment was intended to address Obama’s big government, socialistic governing ambitions rather than the color of his skin?

Republicans want to thwart Obama for the same reason they’ve wanted to thwart Democrats for decades: we don’t want a nanny-state government controlling our lives and telling us that “there comes a point when, uh, you’ve made enough money” so it can buy the votes of have-nots by promising to take money away from the nation’s earners and give it to them.

And before you leap into yet another accusation of dog-whistling based on the claim that blacks, largely being have-nots, are the primary “victims” of this so-called selfish and racist attitude, may I remind you that not only do whites represent the largest number of people receiving government financial assistance, but virtually half the nation’s earners - again being mostly white - currently pay no federal income taxes at all.

This is the state of affairs eighty years of Democratic social engineering has brought us to, kicked into high gear mostly since the Johnson administration and receiving its greatest boost since then by Obama (or rather by the Democratic congress serving at the same time as Obama, who pretty much stood by on the sidelines and made it known he’d approve whatever clusterfuck Congress came up with, which of course he did).

So yeah, we think America needs to be saved. But we also thought it needed to be saved from Johnson; most especially from Carter; from Clinton and his would be co-president Hillary; and now from the most openly socialistic president of my lifetime, Barack Obama. Believe me, the fact that he is from Kenya plays absolutely no role in most Republicans minds in thinking America needs to be saved from Obama.
