Wouldn’t surprise me if you know exactly why.

We have several new Dopers, so it may be good to call their attention to what sort of “thinker” Starving Artist is. Here are a few samples that showed up with a quick Search. In fact he’s made hundreds of posts worse than any of these. Is he the one who’s expounded on the topic of paper tubes? [I’ve highlighted some of his phrases in the following posts.]

So yeah, we think America needs to be saved … now from the most openly socialistic president of my lifetime, Barack Obama. Believe me, the fact that he is from Kenya plays absolutely no role in most Republicans minds in thinking America needs to be saved from Obama.

The “fact” he is from Kenya? I thought even Starving was smart enough to know Obama was born in Hawaii; perhaps this was just a Freudian slip. OTOH the post was made when his idol Drumpf was still pandering the Kenya story.

One of the great things about this board is the things I learn about the black experience in America that I’d never know about otherwise. Who knew TPTB were deliberately spending big dough to fool America about the size of the Ms. Obama’s tush? Not us white folk, I guess, unless we’re advisers to the President.

On the one hand it’s a shame this is apparently considered a necessity for prominent black females in the political sphere, but on the other hand it’s pretty damn funny the way you describe it. Maybe this is why Michelle likes to take separate vacations from the Prez - she can put on her stretch jeans and sashay around like “BLAM!” to her heart’s content.

I’d have been happier if they’d come up with something a little more sophisticated and less insulting to our intelligence. As it is, the Clinton-esque arrogance and blatancy of this particular dishonesty smacks of her design (or perhaps Bill’s). The whole thing seems much more like something they’d come up with than something Obama and his team would hatch.

But who knows? He’s had four years to watch them in action. Maybe he’s picked up a few pointers along the way.

And it doesn’t mean you won’t be either. I’ll take Trump’s savvy and experience and negotiating talent and proven ability to get complex and difficult things done over an empty sack like Obama or a whatever-she-is-who-can-say candidate like Hillary Clinton any day.
