While Bill Clinton committed sex crimes as well as Trump (although Trump seems more prolific), I don’t get what you are saying. What makes her stupid?
Also what bothers me about the Weinstein situation is Hollywood has known about it for years, it is just that now that he is not making blockbuster pictures, earning millions of dollars and winning tons of awards that society turns on him. When the money and awards were rolling in everyone looked the other way.
Did you actually even read what you linked? She was asked about Weinstein, and she pointed out that we have such a problem with this in our country that we even just elected a sexual predator to the White House. That we’d elected one before would only further her point.
Sure, maybe what she said would be politically unwise, given her own husband’s history. But she’s not running for office anymore. Why does she care about that? What she said is the truth, even if it’s not “politically correct” for her to be the one to say it.
Did you read it? She was asked about her own knowledge of Weinstein’s actions, and she said “Look over there; Trump!!”
Emphasis added. Now, if you go to the original link, she first denies knowledge about Weinstein’s action, but quickly pivoted to pointing at Trump.
This. Even if she is absolutely correct, she doesn’t seem to grasp that whatever she says is going draw the obvious response, negating whatever her point was.

She made an entirely factually accurate statement related directly to a question she was asked. If this is “goddamn stupid,” the country is in more serious trouble than I thought.
Someone disagrees with my point of view, so when they make a statement of fact, it is stupid of them to do so.

Assuming this is all true, Trump implied that groping women was a regular thing. He also bragged that he could go into contestants’ dressing rooms at pageants, which included underage contestants.

Obviously she has forgiven her horn dog husband. He was investigated to the extremes and never charged with a crime. So give it up. Their drama is old news. What a profoundly stupid thing to say. There are/were plenty of people who preferred her to Trump as president. Very very few people, if any, put her up on a pedestal.
I mean, the whole “ya’ll think Obama is the Messiah” thing was stupid enough, but there were at least people who really really love(d) Obama.
There are plenty of politicians, both sides of the aisle, who engender that level of unthinking loyalty in their fans… Obama, Bernie and Trump, to name a few. Hillary Clinton was never among them.
The allegations (of criminal behavior) against Bill Clinton are just that, allegations. There are no tapes and, as far as I know anyway, he’s never called Chelsea a fine “piece of ass”.

I think it’s a key difference. Clinton was accused of committing sexual assault by his enemies. Trump bragged about committing sexual assault to his friends.
