Blake Shelton backup singer?

My google fu is weak. I bow in respect of those who have mastered the fine art that is Google, and in my weakness ask stupid questions of my betters.

In my defense (also weak) this has been bugging me for at least a year. I’ve tried, but as I said, I’m weak.

Who is the woman who sang back up on the chorus of Blake Shelton’s “Ol’ Red”? She has only a couple of lines, but I would swear I know her voice.

The voice is too nasal and not “sweet” enough to be EmmyLou or Allison Krause, right?

No answer, just posting a bump for you because I’m curious. I doubt that we’re going to find an answer with Google - but if we can find somebody who actually owns the album and can check the liner notes maybe??

The only backup singer listed on Amazon is “Deborah Allen.”

Since I’m a cheapskate, and since only you and I care, I’ll pm you next week after USPS delivers the CD with (I hope) the full credits listed on the inside booklet.

I know this thread is looong dead. But I searched this because it interests me. When I listen to the song I hear the voice of Miranda Lambert, it may be biased based on their relationship, but thats what I hear.
