umm… is that some fancy term for salt? in reference to lot’s wife? i’ve actually heard there’s a pillar of salt maybe 5 feet tall somewhere over in the area of sodom and gomorrah called “lot’s wife”; but i’m not sure that’s what it really is. interesting though.

Yeah, it’s a refernce to Lot’s wife.
A cruet set is a salt and pepper shaker, occasionally sauce bottles as well.
