Well, it’s been a while since I’ve checked in from the fundie front, mainly because I’ve been far too busy to participate in battle these days. The most recent addition is the first part of debunking Jack Chick’s most famous tract, which is here.
Alas, with my new job that I start on Monday, I will have even less time to do that stuff.
BUT!. There is one very exciting development. We now have our very own vB-style Message Board. With…uhhhh…[sub]mumble…five[/sub] users and [sub]mumble mumble ten[/sub] threads so far.
But it just went live last night.
So, go check it out and make me feel justified in buying a vB license.
I just signed up. I don’t have much time to post anywhere because of my current workload, but I’ll be lurking. Looks like another addiction in the making.
Indeed it does. It’s very fast compared to SDMB. Of course, if I tell everyone that, it will get slower and slower and slower.
Actually, it really indicates the scalability issue very well. That board is running on a Cobalt Raq with two dozen other domains, wheras SDMB has an entire dedicated server.
Of course, for all we know, that server may be a complete POS compared to a Cobalt, but ya never know.
