Blind film actors?

I’ve heard of a few blind actors in stage productions, and we’ve all seen Marlee Matlin, a deaf actress.

But my question is; are there any blind actors or actresses, who work in film or TV?

I guess Dana Elcar kinda counts.

Tom Sullivan is probably the best known blind film actor. He has made guest appearances on many TV shows. Here’s a recent article which discusses his work as a consultant on the movie Daredevil.

And on preview I see that ArchiveGuy has already mentioned one of my personal favorites, Dana Elcar, who went blind (from glaucoma) while he was a regular on MacGyver.

Actor Esmond Knight lost one eye and almost all of the vision in the other eye as a soldier in World War II, but he continued to act in numerous movies until his death in 1987.
