Blog? Journal? Webpage?

I’ve been blogging for several years, starting out at blogger and then moving to wordpress. It’s pretty much a kitchen sink type of blog, with journal entries, vents, book reviews, recipes, and whatever else happens to cross my mind.

I tried MySpace, and hated it so I deleted that page. And I may still have a Facebook page, but I’m not real nuts about it either.

I’ve had a LiveJournal for about four years now. I’m so lucky and so popular that I have all of -two- friends.

Have never been to MySpace or Facebook, used to visit Blogspot years ago because some people I knew were on it.

Recently set up a page on the very crappy and little known Windows Live space only because a friend invited me so that he could keep in touch with people while he’s in Iraq. It’s so crappy that of all the people he invited, only his wife and myself bothered to set up pages.

I have a LJ that I have posted in exactly one time. I think about writing stuff but usually can’t be bothered. A Facebook that I use once in a great while. I scuttled the MySpace when I started to get a lot of drama-bleedover from a few friends. That and my anonymity was suffering a bit.

I was supposed to launch my own domain this year, but my friend who took it upon himself to host it for me (I didn’t ask) is delaying the deployment. Which is just as well, considering I can’t even be bothered to update, well, anything.

I have a personal website (firstnamelastname.com) that’s pretty moribund. I stick things up there occasionally, but usually not linked from the front page, and just send people the direct url.

I have a Vox blog, but I don’t update as often as I’d like.

I used to have a pretty regular online journal–I’d change the design with each month and had a lot of fun creating colour schemes, picking out my photographs to showcase and stuff.

I do have a semi-professional website with its own domain for my writing. It’s been around since 1998 in one form or another! That’s the longest I’ve kept something alive on the web.

I was supposed to keep an online blog/journal with another domain, but I work full-time, I have a dog and a husband, there’s housework, and writing and the garden and… yeah. Oh, there’s these boards, too, which suck up too much of my computer time.

I have had a personal website since 1995, and a LiveJournal since 2000. My website is kind of a big jumble of stuff, from recipes and movie reviews to essays and random articles about stuff. It’s kind of huge but it’s smaller than it used to be. It has a pretty gargantuan photo gallery branch as well. I update my LJ several times a week. Sometimes every day, but not always.

I have an account at myspace just so that nobody can steal my name, but I loathe myspace so I don’t actually use it. I also have about a dozen other websites (virtual-bubblewrap.com, etc) and run several LJ communities, including a few with several thousand members. I also run a message forum (fathom.org).

I was a stay-at-home mom for 10 years. I had a lot of time on my hands, what can I say.

I’ve been keeping a pen-and-paper journal since I was 15. I like writing it by hand, too. The things I put in my paper journal are far more personal than what I do in my LiveJournal.

Although I do put some personal things on my LiveJournal, it normally tends to be lighter stuff like bitchings, musings, and photos.

I love that you’ve had your journals that long

I have several websites and just recently started a blog, but don’t keep up with it much. It really is nothing more than my own personal Pit thread with my rants. I guess it is sort of my on-line diary of “things that piss me off” and more for me than anyone else.

I have a Windows Live space that I used to blog on almost daily for a year or so, but I don’t use that at all anymore. I have a MySpace account which I have never used. I have a Facebook account that I use occasionally, but only to talk to old friends. I have a bebo page which I use… frequently. TOO frequently. It has a space for blogs, but I don’t use that much. I have stolen one or two SDMB thread topics for it, though, like the one where people summarised their lives in 100 words. The last thing I posted on it was a list of “awards” I annually give to those who are close to me and who also use bebo - basically warm fuzzies.

A movie blog and one on computing. See sig.

I use LJ. That’s really about it.

:dubious: Reeeally?

I have a Livejournal that I post all sorts of stuff in. Mostly kimono and stuff about Batman comics lately. It’s in the sig if anybody cares.
