Blogs are for famous and/or popular people. For everyone else there's Message Boards

I have enough random, odd musings that if I actually shared them on here, I’m imagining I’d be getting pitted on a daily basis for never shutting up about the Killers or my adventures dating men for their hats. So, because of that, I keep two blogs. One is on Blogspot and is where I do my rambling about music, movies and such. The other is on LJ and is much more personal, just for close friends to let them keep in touch about what’s going on in my life.

Only select people that I already care about follow my LJ, which is fine by me. I’m continually amazed that people I don’t know will actually read the one on Blogspot, though. It’s not particularly popular, but it’s a fun outlet. I ramble there, so I don’t bore everyone who isn’t dying to find out what, exactly, it is that annoys me about Gerard Way and bisexuality.

So, I think blogs are a good way to avoid irritating people on message boards.
