Alright is another damn CAT thread! How ELSE am I supposed to get you to read one? Sorry!!! Don’t kill me! :slight_smile:

As I mentioned earlier my roommate brought home two cats yesterday. A black one and an apricot tabby that has all the same colors of my recently euthenized cat Max. At first I was angry because we have ENOUGH animals (three dogs)… she asked me which one I “wanted” and to name it… again at first I refused. But then this little tabby fell in love with me. He is such a goof! He has blue eyes that are too big for his head and WAY to close together… he also has dark markings down the sides of his nose that make his nose look soooo long… and dark markings at the bridge of his nose and eyebrows that give him a furrowed/worried look. HE IS SOOOO CUTE! He is comical looking. At first I thought I would name him Sandler… for the comic Adam Sandler… but that changed to Chandler… Chandler Bing… yeah… from friends. This kitten won’t leave me alone… .he is so attention needy and wanting to be held and petted. That is somthing that Max never cared for and the black one doesn’t seem to like either.

Damn… I can’t stop cuddling this pussy.

Glad to hear you found yourself a new friend Whammo. I’m thinking of getting myself a new kitty cat also. Earlier this evening or is that yesterday evening I was at a friends house who has 8 kittens and she is trying to give them away, guess who will probably have a new cat next week? :wink: I just coudln’t help myself, kittens are so adorable!

My babies are occupied right now and can’t type a welcome message to Chandler - boy cat is cuddled up inside my puffy down coat that I’ve been meaning to take to the cleaners, and girl cats are squished and snuggled together on top of my brand new suitcase - but they all send sweet kitty thoughts to you, you big softy!

P.S. Whammo, better face the facts: you ARE a cat person. We all know the truth, so there’s no point in denying it to yourself any longer. :slight_smile:

BTW, is he deaf? I believe all white cats with blue eyes are deaf-as is the case with my aunt’s and uncle’s cat.
My cat, Noel is all white, but has one blue eye and one brown eye. Misty is a white Turkish angora with green eyes.
And my beloved late Fluffy was a grey tabby with bright green eyes.
I want a new kitten. What do you guys think of the name Gypsy?

And missbunny is right, you may as well face up to it; you’ve become a cat person as well as a dog person, but that’s okay, there’s no limit to the number of creatures you can claim. Ours is a blended household, the coming together of a cat person (me) and a dog person (SO cygnus). I never disliked dogs in any way; I just didn’t notice or care about them much, and he would have said the same about cats. Well, it didn’t take too long of living with our now-blended animal step children before we both found that we have adopted another species. You just can’t like too many animals.
