Blood pressure Ideal number seem to be 120/80 sitting down with arm blood pressure cuff at heart level. What should your BP be standing? The reason I ask, went for a checkup yesterday and the Doc said my pressure was up and than he had me stand up to take my blood pressure again. I did not ask why and wonder if you could help.
IANAD but IIRC your BP should remain the same sitting or standing, the difference would be in the pulse. Sitting, it might be 60 BPM, standing it might be 75.
