Welcome to the Straight Dope. It seems the Teeming Millions were remiss in offering you a proper welcome. Not my call about the move from IMHO to the Pit, but I’d say the OP isn’t really asking for debate. You’re relatively new to the boards and it takes a bit to get acclimated but I will say that pro gun POVs are certainly welcome, as are opposing views. Evidence based arguments are even more welcome.
