OK…
Background info: 30 years old, male.
For the past few months I’ve had these blotches in the middle of my chest, between my pecs (if you can call them pecs). They’re dime-sized, of irregular shape, and a yellowish-brown color (closer to brown). They’re not bruises. Just blotches. They don’t hurt or anything; they’re just ugly.
Any ideas?
Also, I bruise extremely easily. What’s up with that? Bruises just seem to appear on me in weird places, like my inner arm.
Could the bruising be related to some kind of blood-related problem?
Thanks.
Um, you mean a “blood-related problem” like diabetes?
Or how about a “blood-related problem” like thyroid deficiency?
Or how about a “blood-related problem” like acute kidney disease?
Or how about a “blood-related problem” like vitamin deficiencies?
These all came up under Google searches for variations on “symptom bruise easily”.
Scott, will you for heaven’s sake do yourself, and all of us here in GQ, a huge favor and please go to a doctor and get a complete checkup? Okay? I’m saying that because I care, 'kay?
It could be diabetes, since it runs in the family.
It’s more probably a vitamin deficiency because I don’t eat well enough…
