Forgive me if this is in the wrong place. Anybody got a screen capture of the infamous “Blue Screen of Death” beloved by Windoze users? Me and a buddy are planning on making a screen saver and intstalling it on the PCs at work, just to unhinge people. Or is there a screen saver out there already made that displays the BSOD we could download?

I know said screen saver exists - I’ve seen it. In fact, they have them for all the death screens of most major OSs. Problem is, the only ones I’ve seen have been for Linux machines, and I don’t know where to get them.

My favorite thing I ever did to unhinge a co-worker was to take a screenshot of the “scanning” screen of his SETI screensaver, then add a huge red spike and the words “CONTACT SETI IMMEDIATELY”, then make it his Desktop Picture. Granted, it didn’t take long for him to figure out, but it sure was entertaining while it lasted.

Hmm, Sofa the one you suggested looked rather fake and I couldn’t get the one Dooku suggested to work. My buddy works in a print shop (so he’s got access to programs like Photoshop to make the screen look as accurate as possible)and he’s trying to come up with one that looks realistic. I guess we’ll just have to wait until he can come up with one that looks right.
