An addition to GMANCANADA’s list of criteria to consider is latency, if you ever want to watch video on your device while listening to audio via bluetooth This info can be hard to find for most devices, since most reviewers don’t even think to test it. Most bluetooth audio devices I’ve tried don’t have any latency issues, but sometimes it’s a real headache and then I’m glad my phone does have an audio jack. I’m frequently left sitting waiting in my friend’s 2014 Honda Civic, so I connect my phone to the car’s bluetooth audio. But when I try to watch video, it’s an exercise in frustration because of the bluetooth latency delay. I break out the audio cable and plug it into the car’s aux port. Ahh, surround sound from the stored movie in my phone. 
And a lot of the JBLs can be linked together to form a stereo system if you have 2 or more of them.
