I am looking to add a bluetooth device (not an in-ear model) to my car, one that is compatible with the iPhone 3Gs.
I have been reading numerous product reviews (e.g., Parrot, Motorola, Jabra), and many state that synching the iPhone contacts with the bluetooth device is not easy/able/impossible…
I was wondering, other than factory-installed radios, what bluetooth devices have dopers used with their iPhone, in their car, and whether or not voice-dialing and if using the iPhone’s contacts was working.
in case anyone ever searches on this topic, Parrot makes a line of iPhone compatible products. I went picked up the MKi9100 off Amazon for $90 less than the MSP…
In my experience (with my factory installed Bluetooth, handsfree system), the iPhone contacts list cannot be synced. My system expects the phone to initiate upload of the contact list which the iPhone doesn’t do. I can program in numbers to my car’s address book by hand though.
