Hey dopers! I’ve been a Bobby Caldwell fan for quite some time now, and I was wondering if anyone else on the SDMB shares the same admiration for what I consider to be the king of “blue-eyed soul.” I have all of his albums, (also his ultra-rare, Japan-only Live in Tokyo laserdisc!) I’ve seen him perform live a few times, I once managed to get a job guarding him while he signed autographs… but I’m not obsessed or nothin’.
So, fellow Caldwell-listening SDMB members, what are your favorite Bobby Caldwell songs/albums? My vote for best album goes to 1982’s Cat in the Hat. I’ve listened to “Wrong or Right” about a quadrillion times.
