Yeah, I’ll see it. I’ve been following them since elementary school. Even got to see them live on their last US tour.

But it’s a bit of a disservice to focus on Freddie. Of the four of them he was by far the worst musician. He was good, no doubt, but the others we great. Even Roger was technically a better singer with a higher range.

Still, the front man gets the spotlight. No doubt about that.

I don’t know what to do with this. In many ways, it’s very true - he had to work his way into the band. But, I mean, c’mon - it’s Freddie Mercury. Thank god the other three realized his drive and vision transcended and complemented their talent and his voice was a special instrument.

It may not be as good as a movie, but Brian May’s book, Queen in 3D is worth checking out if you’re a fan. His earlier stereoscopic books, A Village Lost and Found and Diableries: Stereoscopic Adventures in Hell are both excellent (but with zero Queen content).
