Bolton sees the world very differently than I do. I won’t be reading his book soon. I know he has a unique perspective so hearing about the highlights is enough.

I guess he does have a talent for getting his name in the news, for whatever that’s worth…
I’ll be very interested to see how he does, financially, off this book. He’ll have been paid an advance by S&S; if not enough books sell to put the publisher into profit, he’d be asked to repay part of the advance. Or at least that’s the way things usually work.
But this is not a book that will receive the sort of artificial boosting of other political books such as Don Jr’s, which was purchased in massive quantities by the RNC (if I recall correctly). The RNC won’t be buying Bolton’s book. Nor the DNC. Nor any other entity large enough to give him big numbers.

The rest is about the danger that the courts may bar Bolton from collecting (on the basis of national security issues). But at least this shows what the advance was.
