A very good friend of mine is lifelong friends/collaborators with him. According to my friend he is a great guy.

From all accounts, he’s one of the few celebrities that walks the walk when it comes to charity. He reportedly routinely volunteers doing a number of tasks at his restaurants which feed hungry people for free. He’s not one of those ‘here’s a check to charity. look at how good I am’ sorts that are all too common. He’s passionate about that project.
