Heh. Weird though, about Bones - last time we heard her sing she wasn’t this bad.
In the series pilot her ex was back for a booty call but ostensibly he was picking up his television.
I find her total lack of comprehension of contemporary information stupid - she frequently has lovers, one would think they might mention current events, populat music, fiction, movies and such. You cant just go to bed and screw, you have to meet and ‘make a social contract’ somehow … by her knowing some rock songs well enough to play or sing them, she obviously has been exposed to popular culture at some time. She does go barhopping with Angela, it is mentioned several times, and she dresses up as Wonder Woman for a costume bash one halloween.
I didn’t watch until I saw a marathon at Christmas. The first show I saw I thought Asperger’s as well.
In the books she is portrayed much differently. Competent, but not a savant, and none of the social issues. Also middle-aged with a daughter in college.
I like it better when he dances like an idiot instead.
The camp organizer was in “Scum of the Earth” (WKRP). Yet another great fictional band. Like “Toad the Wet Sprocket”, er, um, sortof.
He was also in a real band called Detective.
So, in case you missed it, looks like Boreanaz was getting threatened by one of his ex-mistresses to out their relationship unless he (presumably) paid her hush money, so he’s decided to come clean about a past affair with her. He’s now in cosmic pain for hurting his family. (Try not to weep too hard for him.) The bimbo has, predictably, retained Gloria Allred as her attorney.
The more things change the more they stay the same.
I was disappointed - I like him. Of course, I don’t know him, just his character and so he may be a real jerk in real life. If Jaime Berman cannot find it in her heart to forgive him, she is welcome to come live with me. (call me Jaime!)
And what exactly does this have to do with his acting ability?
Who cares?
I didn’t claim that the news had anything at all to do with his acting ability.
He gets the bass player’s leftovers.
