Anyone on the dope listen to Will Oldham, aka the Bonny Prince? What a singer! Peerless in the singer/songwriter class right now I think. Anyhow, I have a specific question: in “Death to everyone” on “I see a darkness” he sings:

“Death to everyone, is gonna come,
it makes hosing
much more fun”

(I think)

WTF does hosing mean in this context? Its not a word used in the UK, though I think I 've heard people being called hosers in Canada.

Everytime I sing along with this track I feel slightly foolish for not having a clue what the dude is on about.

Well, I haven’t heard the song, but maybe he’s saying “the whole thing” and just kind of slurring it?

he’s definitely singing “hosing.”

i think the lyrics are in the liner notes as well.

but i have no idea what he means by it.
