Agreed. Those designers are awesome and should be given a congratulatory firm handshake.
My mother has always knit little chair socks for many of her chairs to keep them from scratching the wood floors. They look like little fuzzy condoms.

So true. My mother in law is a knitter. Once, I made a comment about how I’ve always wanted a tea cozy for my teapot so it doesn’t get cold. A few days later, I had a new tea cozy. Then various other cozies started showing up: tissue box, soap dispenser, broom handle (so you don’t get splinters… but it’s a plastic handle!), doorknob, make up case…
I think she had out-cozied her house and was thrilled at the prospect of having a new house to make cozies for!
